Owens Foundation To Award Scholarships
The Owens Community College Foundation will award more than 60 scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year. To apply for a scholarship, students must complete and return an application to the Oserve office on the Owens campus by Wednesday, February 15. Scholarship award notification will begin in March and will continue until all awards have been made.
For scholarships based on financial need, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application for the 2012-13 academic year must be on file in the college’s Oserve Office by Wednesday, February 29. FAFSA and foundation scholarship program forms are available in the College’s Oserve Office or can be downloaded from www.owens.edu.
Vision Research Fellowship Grants Available
Prevent Blindness Ohio is accepting applications for its 2012 Young Investigator Student Fellowship Awards for Female Scholars in Vision Research. Grants will be awarded for the summer 2012 session. The deadline for receipt of applications is February 15.
Applicants must be post-baccalaureate students enrolled in either a master’s or doctorate program, female citizens and permanent residents of the United States and conducting their fellowship project with a recognized academic institution in the state of Ohio.

Waterville Rotary To Award Scholarships
Applications are being accepted through Thursday, March 29 for a minimum of two $1,000 scholarships given by the Rotary Club of Waterville. Graduating students residing in the Anthony Wayne or Otsego school districts are eligible.
