Baby Items Needed For Heartbeat Of Toledo
Heartbeat of Toledo Pregnancy Support Center is seeking donations of baby items to help area parents in need. Requested items include: diapers, newborn through size 5; powdered formula, Similac Advance and Similac Sensitive Isomil Soy; baby wipes; baby wash, lotion, powder and diaper rash ointment; receiving blankets; hooded bath towels and washcloths; and gently used high chairs and strollers including the umbrella type.
Also needed are new and gently used winter clothes, sizes 0-6 months; boys’ clothing up to size 2T; and outerwear, especially coats, snowsuits, boots and mittens up to size 2T.
Items may be dropped off at the Heartbeat office at 4041 W. Sylvania Ave., Suite LL4, Mondays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For additional information, call (419) 241-9131.
ISOH/Impact Helps Local Families In Need
ISOH/Impact is seeking donations to its Bucket Brigade to assist local families with basic needs. Items being sought include monetary donations, grocery and fuel gift cards, canned and nonperishable food items, personal care items, cleaning supplies, diapers and baby care items, pet supplies, toilet paper, paper towels and tissues, laundry detergent and fabric softener and five-gallon buckets with lids. No glass items, water or clothing will be accepted.
Donations may be dropped off at ISOH/Impact’s warehouse at 905 Farnsworth Rd., Waterville, 24 hours a day, or at any Toledo area Tireman Auto Service Center. Cell Phone Collection Benefits Soldiers
Cell Phones for Soldiers collects old cell phones and uses the proceeds to purchase calling cards for troops to use to stay connected with family members. Phones may be dropped off at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, or at any AAA Northwest Ohio branch office or Car Care Plus facility.
